Visiting LGYC

The members and staff of LGYC welcome you to our Club.

We will do everything possible to make your visit with us enjoyable.  We hope your stay with us will encourage you to make us a frequent port of call.

UPON ARRIVAL

We encourage all yachts visiting LGYC to identify themselves by flying their yacht club burgee.

For slip space availability and assignment, as you arrive in the vicinity of Lake Guntersville, contact the club at (256) 582-4410.

Lake Guntersville Yacht Club will reciprocate or extend privileges to any visiting Yacht Club Member listed below:

• Chattanooga Yacht Club
• Fort Loudoun Yacht Club
• Turtle Point Yacht Club
• Any club listed with the registry of American Yacht Clubs.

No other Non-Member may stay overnight at the Club Dock without prior approval of the Facilities Manager or ranking Officer present, so please call in advance.

Transient docking is provided for members of reciprocating yacht clubs.  Transient docking of other boats may be allowed by the Facilities Manager or Ranking Officer.  Owners or Captains of transient boats not from reciprocating yacht clubs are required to sign a hold harmless agreement for docking.

Pricing - There will be 50 cents per foot of boat length/per 50 amp dock receptacle/per day charge for docking space from a visitor from a visiting LGYC.

Pricing exceptions - Members from Chattanooga Yacht Club, Turtle Point Yacht Club, and Fort Loudoun Yacht Club will be charged at the same rate they charge our members and will not be charged for our Labor Day Weekend if participating in our event.

WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS

LGYC offers wireless internet to our members and guests while on the property and docks. Please stop by the Front Desk to receive a password.
