Updated Venue Card attached & Dockwa Registration

Okay Buccaneers, the CYC has finalized their plans.  Cost for the event is going to be $245 for the weekend or $125/day if you just want to come for Friday or Saturday.  Costume night is Saturday night with a Brazilian Steak house meal and band.  They are locked in by catering cost after 13 May so please go ahead a register for this event as registration will close on 13 May.  They are having the same troubles we dealt with last year at our party with catering.  Regarding the lock maintenance, they deal with Chickamauga Dam  (Nav Notice 22-13)  every Memorial Day and actually had a conference call with them this morning.  They are in contact with the lockmaster and Nashville District and I recommend that we let the CYC leadership do that communication.   Best case is the repairs finish on or before schedule and we can Lock thru Friday morning as normal.  Worst case is we lock thru early (on 6 am EST) Friday Morning or make a 6 pm EST lock thru Friday night and get there at 7 pm EST on Friday night.  My plan will be to lock thru Friday morning from Erwin.  Speaking of Erwin, I spoke with them and they have room on the Bluff and Aquarium dock for 26 May but each captain needs to log on to Dockwa or call them at 4232661316 and make your reservation and give them your credit card info and tell them you are in the LGYC group.  As stated in my initial communication,  go ahead and let me know if you plan to make the run to Chattanooga in one day or two day with anchorage above Nickajack.  We have a lot of new members that are looking for someone experienced to travel with.  At the CYC they have the same rules for pets as LGYC, can accommodate only 3 RVs (no power, so Generators all weekend),  no services for minors.  Hotels for those driving  are anything near Hamilton Place Mall (15 min) or in Ooltewah. If any of you require any other than one 50 amp service please email me your requirement when you email me your float plan. They have graciously said that anyone that wants to stay until Monday or even longer is welcome.  My email is blross86@gmail.com or text 256-656-9320.
