Fire, Flare and Knots demo and workshop

Chuck Wills and the America's Boating Club is holding another free demo and seminar and you are invited to attend. 

A fire extinguisher demonstration and practice will be conducted.  I have enough extinguishers for about 15 or 20 attempts.  If you have expired fire extinguishers you would like to donate or practice with you are welcomed to bring them along.  We will have a small contained diesel fuel fire and everyone that wants can take a turn putting it out to gain actual experience in using a fire extinguisher. 

We have requested USCG approval to shoot aerial flares at the club between 1 and 2 pm so if you have expired flare you would like to practice with please donate them or bring them to the event. 

If you have donations of expired flares, aerial flares or fire extinguishers, please leave them at the office for Chuck Wills to collect.

The knot tying seminar early this year was popular so we are repeating it in the clubhouse starting at 2 pm.
