Heroes Week - Semper Fi Cruise and Dinner

Tommy Pearson is calling Captains!  We need your support!  We are expecting 120 Guest.  Pleas let Tommy know if you can participate, how may people you can accommodate on your boat, and if you CAN NOT accommodate a service dog.

We celebrate our Veteran's with a very special day that includes hosting a group of wounded Veterans. 

LGYC and other Guntersville vessels take the Veterans on a cruise followed by a ceremony and dinner at the Yacht Club. 

This is a day that always makes us proud to be an American and thankful for those have served in the military.

LGYC has always shown tremendous support for this worthy cause.

The final schedule is not yet set but the event typically starts with our veteran arriving at LGYC by motor coach after a motorcycle escort.  We load them onto our vessels and take a leisurely cruise (captains choice) around the lake and then cruise them past city harbor at a specified time when the public will gather to salute the veterans.

After returning to the Yacht Club there will be a ceremony to thank the veterans followed by dinner.
